So did ford buy cummins?

I have heard some talk recently about ford buying cummins and wanted to know if anyone knew anything bout it

Yes they did, it was so when the new Pinto station wagon comes out it can have the new v-8 cummins in it.

I was O'Reilly's the other day gettin some oil and a filter and I told the guy behind counter that I needed a wix oil filter for an 07 5.9 dodge cummins and he said, "turbo or non-turbo?". I kinda giggled and and said yes, i specially ordered mine with a turbo.

Guys guy come on! I just bought Cummins....I can also give you a great deal on the Tobin Bridge too!!


Hehe, it is a common rumor. Ford did own some Cummins STOCK in the 90s but Cummins bought it back...and at over $110 a share I bet Ford wishes it could have it back...
