was talking to guy with a powerstroke that puts out smoke like a freight train and he said he is harrassed constantly by the police. said they even wrote him up for wreckless endangerment ( which he got out of ) because of the black cloud he left behind. so what stories do u smoke makers have that involves the law ?? whos being bothered etc.. scott

 

I was stopped once with my 58 Chevy because it was smoking so bad the cop said he couldn't see my car. Of course that was oil mist and not soot. Soot is in a different class and isn't really a pollutant since it precipitates out of the air and is simply carbon. The sulfer is bad however but Biodiesel will take care of that.

Just the other day I picked up a 12 valve from the side of the road (I drive a tow truck) b/c the driver, some 17 yr old kid, decided to cover a major intersection in smoke.

I dont know what they gave him (i dont ask, known of my business) but he did get a free ride in the cruiser for it.
