I have been driving my new Powerstroke around now for a few weeks and I must say it is very nice, Tons of power, I pull a trailer with (2) skid loaders and a John deere bucket loader down the interstate 80-85 mph while passing chevys and dodges like there still in park, I brought the truck into the FORD dealership in my area for a general service check, while I was waiting for my ticket a mechanic came up to me and had asked how long I owned the truck, I said a few weeks, he said he liked the sound of the pipe, I said yes it sounds great, I asked him why it was louder than other powerstrokes I have seen, to my surprize my truck had an 6.5" stainless exhaust the last owner had installed along with many other mods that I never knew about includeing a twin turbo kit, I was told that my horsepower was around 900 hp and 2200 pounds of torq, I was also told that my truck was set up for pure pulling power, I guess I can finally say bring me 2 duramax's and 3 cummins and I will pull them all at the same time and pull them apart and chase down the drivers! F-450 superduty 4x4 crew dually. DONT MESS WITH IT< AND DONT MESS WITH TEXAS.

This was a Quote off the GM diesel site...had to share it with you guys!

To quote Bugs Bunny " What a MAROON"!!!!! 900 horse power???
Yea, right. How did he come up with that number? Can a mechanic really tell how much power you have by just looking at it??? I guess we all know just where he resides in the gene pool

Where exactly does one buy a six (and a half) inch exhaust, anyway?

I should go look at mine. Who knows what I've been missing?

Yup.

No one buys a used vehicle without checking under the hood.

Even my mother, who has no idea what she is looking at takes a peek under the hood.
Probably even kicks the tires, which accomplishes nothing, unless they are Firestone.

phox_mulder quote:
We all know the name Ford sells itself right? no need to look under the hood if it's a super duty powerstroke, what could be wrong?

"unless they are Firestone,........................unless they are Firestone" I love my firestones and my truck hasnt rolled over yet. should be unless they are BFG's. they have left me stuck 1 too many times.
that guy has to be foolin' because we all no that when ever a PSD driver opens his mouth about his truck they always say YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL ITS BACK THEIR.when they have pulled something.so its clearly a phoney.
plus youd figger the person he bought it off of would have mentioned the $3,000 SS Exhaust
2200 POUND OF TORQUE-----thats like 5 1/2 PSD's

Today I opened my hood and there was an extra turbo under there for some odd reason, and gauges appeared on my pillar too. I also found out I had 20 inch exhaust and by looking at the motor I have around 25000 horsepower. What a moron, but hey, it's a Ferd guy!!!
