Re:Schied truck

I doubt they have an intercooler at those boost levels. Most likely just lots of water between turbo stages.

Re:Schied truck

i used to be in tractor pulling before , therefore yes it is very common to use water/ahocal [ sorry for spelling] for very high boost level one of my tractor before it have 4 turbos in series and it spit over 235 psi for boost level and i use water with ahcol injector to keep the intake charge cool because the time for full power is so short so it is more easier to use the water than reguar intercooler.and alot of puller do the same thing with it as long the rule allow it i have no probem with it

merci, marc

Kent and I went to Tech school together. I was talking to him at their show back in september and He said that the diffs were the ones the truck came with. He has added mag hytec covers to both. The truck does have a pulling t-case in it. I know he also runs a special twin disc clutch. That truck is an awesome machine.

Hi French277,

Do you do this tractor pulling in Europe? I know the sport has grown real big over there. Dont worry about your english spelling. Its a lot better than my French.

Re:Schied truck

The truck is way wicked. Lots of people say it has tripple turbos. If you watch the videos it sounds like twins though. As for the pump, who knows man, could be a p-7100, or something a little more wild. ;D

SIGMA later, I mean see ya later,

Re:Schied truck

It is running a set of HUGE twins and I believe one of their 12 cyl P style pumps.

Re:Schied truck

I believe its a hybrid. Originally a 12 valve with a 24 valve head fitted on it. I could be wrong though. I know Schied's have built an engine like that.

4X4:

If you have other questions on the Scheid Pulling Truck
I would suggest giving Kent Crowder a call at the Scheid
Diesel (Lafayette) Shop. Their telephone number is:
1-800-669-3533.

I agree, there is SO MUCH B.S. floating around about this truck it's more likely that you'll get a better idea if you call.

Re:Schied truck

This is true about the rumors. I know it is one bad truck. Wow. They do some interesting things. I talk to Dan at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. Great people to talk with. Give them a call, and you wont be dissappointed.
