Schied Injectors?

Looking to upgrade injectors soon. Considering Schieds Lighting Series either 1's or 2's. Truck is used to pull light trailer approx. 3,500 lbs on weekends. Most I tow is approx. 10,000 lbs through the summer maybe 4-5 weeks. Otherwise driven to work, looking for something that will yield better mileage when towing. Got about 11 mpg, w 3.55 gears towing 10,000 load last year. What kind of results or experience have you guys had with these. Will look to purchase through Haisleys or Scheid. TIA
Sorry truck is 98.5 24valve QC 4X4 w/ 3.55's, AT, Edge Comp tapped, Fuel, Boost, EGT gauges

There are lots of other options that you can consider.. Not to say Schied's stuff isn't good.

Personally, I'm going with Dyno-mite's injectors after reading the results from a few VERY happy customers, but I've got a 12v.

Filling out your sig with truck information will be a big help, since 12v's and 24v's have completely different injector markets..

I suggest giving them a call and asking them. This isn't much of a Scheid board. They don't post online like some of these other vendors. This doesn't make them bad. Their actions speak louder than words.

Thanks guys, have recently talked to them about prices. Just wondered if the 1's (95hp) verses the 2's (150hp) decreases fuel mileage while towing. I know that the overall mileage will be determined by the size of my right foot, just didn't want to buy injectors once and then turn around and wish I had gotten bigger set. May look into 2's if wouldn't immediately require upgrading turbo. Usually getting about 14-15mpg, truck has 200,000 miles so I know they need changed. Appreciate the info

I would not tow 10,000 lb with 150 injectors... especially without a boost fooler... unless you don't mind a lot of smoke and high EGT's!
Some do it but your driving by the EGT gauge.

Also, I might worry a little about your Auto tranny holding up for long.Your already pushing it with your Edge Comp.

Don't know the Sheid injectors well... but the best I've seen for towing mileage are Bosch 275's (40 HP) or F-1's Mach 1.6's (95 hp).
