Pretty much the same.. set at med flow, toss out the empty pop cans, empty the ashtray, check oil, look underneath to make sure nothing is leaking, maybe look at the tires while washing windshield. The go back and fill the filler neck to the threads. Key in miles, fuel and junk into my trusty PDA (let it keep all my records for me and do the math).

Repeat every 3 work days.

I watch the pump total sale $$$ turning over. It appears all the stations I go to lately have the new higher volume pumps installed as the total sale $$$$ are turning so fast I cannot make them out. Makes me kind of dizzy watching them.

I guess I will have to take up washing my windsheild.

With what the fuel prices are doing now all I have time to do is write out the check.

It hurts so bad that I feel like I've got muscle cramps when I go to fill in the $ amount.

It hurts but it's still worth it to be driving my CUMMINS !

Yes the fuel prices are high, but I am soo relieved when I finally have to put fuel into my ram. Before I got this, I had a 94 gmc 4x4 with 350 engine. Talk about muscles getting cramps, I filled it every three days. It was a great heavy truck but was a gas hog. I am getting almost double the mileage as the gasser. And it is so cool to be setting up so high in my 2500 ram.

As for as what to do when filling, I can't seem to get the other diesel drivers to leave me alone, they all want to talk about diesels and other stuff. When I filled up at the gas pumps, no one would talk to me.

Eddie..........Just think. You could be puttin the diesel in a ford at 11 mpg, then you could fuel up more often.

Crank up the pump full blast, I think based on all the responces here I now know why I fight foam BAD. Handle clicks, fight foam, click, fight, click, fight, click, fight, this goes on for about 10 mins then I realize I got a whole gallon more. WWWOOOPPPPEEEEE.

I feel like Nicholas Cage in Matchstick Men! Maybe just maybe one time I'll beat that foam. Tried the finger on the hole, worked one time but not the next.

Windows don't need to be cleaned cause I do that EVERY morning! as well as the rest of the truck!
