Rodeo towing F-350

Guys tonight on the way to work I saw the funniest thing I've ever seen on the road. This is true I swear on my life. I saw a Ford 1 ton supercab DRW hooked to a 18ft. GN cattle trailer that was empty. This was being towed through town with a tow strap by a Izuzu Rodeo no lie. I was laughing so hard I almost wrecked.

You should feel sorry for that truck owner.

You know how hard it was for that Ford to push that Isuzu Rodeo with a tow strap?

It would be funny to see, but do not wish to see anyone broken down.

This morning I'd say you could buy that truck pretty cheap, but that Rodeo would be high dollar!

haha shovel that takes some finesse to push a rodeo and keep the tow strap from collapsing.

Reminds me of the time I hooked on to a 10 yard dump truck (empty of course). It had a Cat in it and was sucking air into the fuel line. All it would do was idle. I had a '79 f-150 supercab, 302, auto with 230000 miles on it and the guy with me said I was nuts and the truck absolutely "COULD NOT" do it. I had that truck going 40 mph. That would have been a good picture.

Wasn't there a commerical like that a while back? Guys in an 18 wheeler with a trailer were stuck and some guy came up and pulled them along, one guy says to the other "Do not tell anyone about this" or something like that...

We used to have a 28 ft. grumman stepvan work truck that broke down. I towed it home with a 1968 volvo 122s. That would have been a sight.

It was an ancient grumman with an old Ford straight six. Not sure what trans it had. The stepvan was a 1957 and actually still runs great. The guy still has it although it's getting difficult to find parts for.

It would be a cold day in h*ll the day I got towed by an Isuzu. I'd be laughing pretty hard if I saw that too.
