Question for the Moderators

I love the oil survey for HOSS. GREAT Idea!!!

How about some sort of survey regarding the overall quality of customer satisfaction with Dodges service deptartments. Maybe this is too touchy a subject.

I personally have only had to take my 03 in once in 10,000 miles and received good service. But it seems, based on what I read in the Forums, that most service depts kinda stink. I know my local Chevy Dealer sure does.

If the boys at DC actually are reading what we say here, maybe it would help.

What say ye Mr. Moderator? ;D

Sounds like a great idea, but there's laws against slander.

Re:Question for the Moderators

Surevy absolutely in no way has to mention any dealer names. I am simply curious as to what our members think of the level of quality provided by Dodge overall.

Since this group is represented by people all across the country and Canada it would be a real good idea of what the service reaally is like.

Personally, I'd bet the overall opinion is that it stinks.

Re:Question for the Moderators

Call me crazy, but I don't want to lose all my money because of a "hobby".
I thought most people on this board were losing their money because of their hobby: BOMBing their trucks

Re:Question for the Moderators

ahhhh, BUT the bleeding of his pocketbook is voluntary. Similar, but different. Know what I mean?
It used to be voluntary, but after reading this board for a while, I am starting to hear voices in my head that say "Get the Edge (get gauges first tho)", or "You need a new exhaust" etc. etc. etc. I think I have started to be swayed by powers beyond my own control and they might be taking over the pocektbook soon.

Re:Question for the Moderators

People by nature will when they pay for car or truck service. This is human nature. Not too many people wanna fork out dough for repairs. Bombing is another thing. They will spend tons to make the trucks go faster, but whine and cry that a dealership raped them for a front brake job. Some people have unrealistic ideas of what a service dept should be. Some service depts are crap. So to do this poll (that ain't gonna happen anyway) properly we should hear from the customer (who is not a licensed technician) the technician (who doesn't own the truck and doesn't care if it runs or not) and a third party to monitor this whole thing. I think it would be fun... ;D
