Question for Luke S.
Luke, Went and drove an HO with 6 speed. Still no Auto's in our area. I learned another disappointing thing, and was wondering about your take on it.

The dealer said that the bed on the short bed had been shortened from 6 1/2 to 6 ft to accomodate the extra room in the cab. What has been your experience with this in regards to towing a 5th wheel or gooseneck?

I have a slider now for tight parking, but I'm wondering about just regular towing with the loss of 6" from cab to center of bed.

My tow vehicle and my town car are the same so I pretty much discount long beds.

Thanks,

Bill

Re:Question for Luke S.
Actually, I think it was only shortened to 6' 3".... I don't think it would pose to much of a problem... especially with the slider... ;D

Tony

It gets prety darn tight with a big 5th wheel, I recomend the long bed to as many people as I can. Actually I think I only got 1 sb out there right now. Everybody right here in my neck of the woods want lb's ??? :
