question about MOOG parts

well i noticed that my track bar is a MOOG...its starting to get some play...the thing is i bought the truck with the bar already on it and i have obviously no papers to prove that i bought it which i didnt ....so id like t go to carquest and get a new one....can anyone guess what they're gonna tell me?

If you are really nice to them, they might give you a new one for free It all depends on the store. Some will warranty the parts without the reciept, and some require it. If Carquest doesnt warranty it, try Napa or some other places that sell Moog parts. I am pretty sure that Moog will reimburse the store that takes the part back because of warranty, but I am not positive.

i forget who all sells MOOG....carquest i know for sure....NAPA does too?...im bound to find a store that will do it...i mean lifetime warranty is lifetime warranty right?...who cares if it was the previous owner who bought the MOOG track bar

Are you sure Moog offers a lifetime warranty on these parts? I wasn't aware of that.

Actually, now that I think about it, they only have a one year warranty. But, it is still worth a try.

yeah i thought MOOG was warrantied like that...kinda like mastercraft at canadian tire...just bring it in and get a replacement...im not positive though...best thing i can do is ask

I bought all new MOOG front end parts at Orielly's with a lifetime warranty. They said don't worry about keeping a reciept I was in the computer. If you know the guys name that had it before, maybe you could use his name.
