Question propane engine block heater???

Asking this question for a friend.

He saw a show on TV where they showed a propane powered engine block heater? He has a second generation 12 valve (97 model year) if it matters.

Anyone familiar with such a device?

Pros, cons, anything?

thanks
Todd
