I always liked the pitch they have had recently called "The Truth About Trucks..." Sponsored of course by - Ford. Hmmm, wonder who they will favor?

I WILL say that the old Gas I-6 Ford truck was quite a good, cheap workhorse, although they were slow, fuel hogs, and the body would rust off them. Of course, Ford wants no part of I-6 engines anymore, not "image-concious" enough for them.

you mean the ol' 300 inline 6 cylinder? That was an awesome engine, last forever. We hauled junk with a half ton, 3 speed and could not kill that sucker. All the good engines of the past, chebby 350, Ford 302, Dodge 360/318, slant 6, 300 inline ford 6, all done away with for the high tech unreliable poo poo.
