Overestimate California's fueled state's landmark diesel law

Not quite sure which is the best forum to post this one, but this will do for now. Mods, please move it if you want to.

Dear CARB

Please admit that yall are wrong, so that we can remove the Bluetec System and have Dodge update all ECM's accordingly.

That is all,

Thank You

Signed,

Bluetec Blues

Oh and Stan, I think its fine where its at. Its concerning diesels in general, not so much political.

Who would've thunk it, left wing nanny staters vastly overestimating numbers so that a bunch of spineless, dogooder politicians can control more of our lives because we're too stupid to know what's good for us!

California has just about taken themselves down, but someone needs to finish the job so they can get real and start over. A bunch of Obama's administration is from Cali and it shows with what they are pushing and getting away with.

We do not go to California anymore and if the relatives want to see us they have to come out of that nut haven to meet us in a "normal" place.

You can't be 340% off and call it scientific .... that's gross negligence. And why wasn't the air board looking at fuel sales to get their data? If I wanted to know how much off-road diesel was being used, I wouldn't even think about getting an estimate, I would be looking at how much off-road #2 was being sold and know to the 1/10 of a gallon.

Deaths by particulate matter is another one I have issues with. Do these folks not realize that diesel particulate matter is heavier than air, and that the City of Los Angeles has done a study analyzing what their street sweepers were actually picking up, and that "diesel particulate matter" and tire dust were the most common types of matter swept up?

Then you top it off with a scientific review by someone you KNOW isn't qualified but fail to inform the air board ..... WOW!

And these folks still have their jobs!!!

If this had been any of us, we would have had police in the parking lot making sure we left the lot.

So does this mean we can junk the BlueTec stuff, legally? (Insert evil grin here)

Honestly if it were me, I would go after the board itself. Gross negligence, failure to employ qualified personnel, failure to disclose employee qualifications ..... that article is so full of potential for a lawyer.

And yes, the State would pay for it unfortunately. Or they could just have the boss fire some people ..... which I'm really surprised hasn't happened.

I like that approach. Prove the board incompetent, ergo, prove their findings incompetent. Reverse findings. Reverse laws applied to findings.

Win!

Or better yet they have a massive earthquake and California falls into the ocean and disappears forever.
