When I lived in Sedro-Woolley, WA. took it to the dealer in Bellingham. Both the truck and wifes Chrysler T&C. Cost was less than I could do it myslelf with the service cupons they sent me. No muss, no fuss, and a wash job thrown it.
Before I retired and had a company van, Juffy Lube Oil change $39.and chance
Dealer on T&C $29.00.
Have to find a place around Casa Grande in AZ, I don't mind a drive for good service.
Turning 71 in a week dont have much to to with it. LOL

There are no oil change places I have come across in my area that will use the filter (Fleetguard #3894) and oil (Rotella T) I prefer and they want to charge far too much too grease the chassis......so, I see absolutely no benefit to paying someone else too much for something that is not done to my satisfaction and is easily done by me anyway.

I started out letting the dealer do it. but as fuel prices went up I could afford to drive 320 miles round trip for a oil change... So I got smart...

The last time the dealer got to change my oil was at 26K miles... From tha point on I've been doing it myself... Currently got 63K+ on the clock.

The Wal-Mart here uses Rotella, but it's with a Fram filter.

Found a chrysler dealer in Circleville Ohio that uses my oil, my filter, his labor, his rack, his grease and disposal + ect..., and he charges me a whole $8. Oh, he also lets me check things like brakes while he has it on the rack. Needless to say, all of my cars will be bought from this dealer.

Super Walmarts charge $10 to change and dispose of your used oil. You provide your own oil and filter.

I change mine at home in the driveway. but due to the fact that it is still under warrantee, I do use the mopar oil filter. (bought a case of them , price brakedown was $6.89 per filter) I change the filter every 5k and the oil at 20k. Amsoil.I also grease and inspect everything underneath . "Ironbutt"

Im sorry and I dont mean to offend anyone BUT!!!

I would not trust a dealer to poor pee out of a boot with the directions written on the heal and a flashing neon arrow pointing to it.

I buy fuel and oil in bulk, do changes on four vehicles and use the waste oil in the boilers.

Killfast1, I agree... After six diesels, four of them Dodge Cummins Rams, I haven't paid for the first oil change. Just don't trust them to care about my truck like I do. Dodge was kind enough to put the filter on the Hemi in the same spot it was in on the Cummins so I don't get confused. It's even upright so I get oil in the armpit if I don't use the baggie trick.

I'm the same way... 5 Vehicles to take care of...

I buy all oil's in 5 gallon buckets and 10 gallons at a time.

I've got two friends that uses waste oil for wooden fence post and the other for waste oil heater.
