Offer he can't refuse...

So says the salesman. Yep, he made an offer I couldn't refuse. Been pricing trucks for a few weeks and know that I wanted a SRW 3500, this put me at looking for a used 03 or 04. In both cases prices ran from about $29000 to about $3400 depending on if mods had been made. On top of that I wanted the long bed, Quad Cab. Mileage ran from about 9000 on 04s to 45-50000 on 03s.

On May 29th I pick up an 04 3500 LB SRW 4x4 Quad Cab with the 6 speed. Only problem is I have to drive it about 350 miles to get it home. But the good part is I get to drive it and start the breakin right away and get it right.

Then as I can "I" get to do the mods I want, starting with my 5er hitch and brake controller. It will also become my daily driver so the break in period will be very short.

Should have worked the 350 miles into the deal.
I did and the salesman picked me up in his own Cessna, flew me from central WA to Salem OR, no charge.
