October 06 TOM Winner!

**** CONGRATULATIONS ****
FiverBob

Consider yourself special because you are the first winner to be voted DTR Truck Of the Month, when the category had to be a truck with a fifth wheel RV in tow. (Well,,,, Casey B. did get the TOM award before you did and his TOM picture does include his 5er,,,,,,, However, you are the first OFFICIAL truck/trailer combo to be voted on.)

Congrats goes out to the runner-ups for being selected to be in the poll as you all have very nice looking rigs.

I'll be sending you a PM/email to get your info so that I can forward it to Keith at Forest City Diesel and he can get one of those beautiful plaques in the mail to you.

Thanks as always to Keith Livingstone, owner of Forest City Diesel for supplying the beautiful TOM plaques!

Congratulations Bob. Very nice looking setup.

(And thanks to the admin for not posting a picture of the owner modeling his latest "swimwear" in front of his rig )

WOW, WHAT A SURPRISE.

We are on the road with the rig and have not been able to hit the web for a few days. I open up the site and see this. My thanks to all for their vote. You will note I have not posted a pic in my album of the swimwear in question - - I thought about posting the one of Scotty, but he is bigger than me and I don't want him mad at me.

We love our truck and our trailer - - it is a great combination. It has now taken us from Florida to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, and Florida to Alaska. The truck has never even hickuped, even on 12% grades in Newfoundland. In spite of the weight, the mileage has been very good. I am also very thankful for this website. It has always been a source of good information and still have some fun along with it. The coffee is pretty tough sometimes, but the company makes it worth it. I have made some good friends here.

Thanks again for your vote.

Bob

Hey Bob, nice looking rig. I recently took your advice from a few years ago and we bought a 1 year-old rig instead of a new one and saved ourselves at least a third of the cost of the same rig new. And the rig has hardly been used. I must admit that your truck looks better with your trailer than mine. Flame red dually, white fiberglass rig with black and gray graphics.

Just don't "drually" while you say it.

Glad I could help and the truck didn't blow up with whatever I suggested. A lot of people have helped me down thru the years - - I enjoy giving back when I can.

The BobMobile is one sharp looking rig.

I've learned a lot from your posts, and am happy to see you and your truck recognized.

Congrats.
