new truck shopping

well im sure you get these posts very often, but after pooking around the site i figured id post up and get some help since everyone seems so helpful

ive decided i want a ctd, atleast extended cab, but would love a crew cab i am going to be hauling a trailer with a heavy wheeling rig (around 5000lbs plus trailer) so i fell a 3/4ton should be just fine, and i shouldnt need a 1-ton. correct me if im wrong

ive been searching at the dealer a bit and im not sure i can afford to buy and 06 new, but if i found a leftover 05 i could probably afford it. i was told 05 leftovers were selling for about 10 off sticker plus rebates and stuff. i have 2 other dealers to hit up next week, actually the 2 biggest around here, hoping to find one

i have also been searching the used listing in the paper and such
found an 04 3/4 quad cab with the predator for 33,000, which seems a bit steep to me but i havent called on it yet. Is this too steep?

any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated

now im going to sit back and I love it when the boss is gone and i dont have much work

yeah 33 is a bit high for a 04 minds well just buy a new truck then you dont have to worry about what was done to it and how it was taken care of. I paid 34,356 for my new 05 when the employee discounts were goin on.. i will not pay that price for a used one. At least check it out see why the guy thinks he is goin to get that much out of it.
