Need some stack pics

Afternoon, DTR.

I'm wanting to throw some stacks on the truck, but I want to look at some to see what I like. I was not going to do a box, I just want to do a 'Y' in the bed. I want some mitre cut duals, I am going to make it all myself, and just paint the stacks black.

I'm looking for what height I want to put them, placement on the back window, and what size stacks. I've done a stack install before, so the plumbing is no problem.

I'm gonna have to mod my tool box so I can move it back, so we'll have to see how that goes first.

Thanks for your time!

mad

They fell off a long time ago...

Yea they got knocked off by something crossing the road one night. Coon or possum or somethin. I seen myself driving over something, heard a loud THUNK, and next day no more bullnutz. I've grown up since then. Got some for the Rhino though lol....

Thanks, fellas. Keep them comming.

Jason, I like the size of those, but I don't like how high they are. (just my taste, nothing wrong with your truck, buddy. )
I've been thinking about a single too... Dunno. Leaning more toward the duals.

SCREW YOU THEN MADHAT!!! Just kidding No offense taken Mark I actually like the looks of stacks at cab level too and that's why I put that single black stack at cab height. However that sucker was LOUD inside!!! much louder than dual 7" and single 7". It was weird because the 6" was the quietest of the three setups on the outside, but loudest on the inside. I don't run a muffer or cat, just a straight pipe, so the only thing i can attribute to making it so loud on the inside was the fact that it was at cab height.

Made a big difference once I installed a muffler...When I had the full length stacks and the muffler you couldn't tell that there was stacks.Once I cut 6 inchs off ,the noise was more noticable, but not bad at all.

I want a single 6 or 7 stack, but with the under body pipe still in place and a valve of some sort that I can switch back and forth. If I ever get a stack, I may make a custom cutout that I can just bolt/remove a block plate to cutoff the stack. I don't wanna make too much noise sometimes and i don't wanna blacken the front of the rv.

Wish I could post photos, but for some reason, it won't let me. Don't know what's wrong, I've posted pics in the past with no problem. Anyway, see my sig., I'm a single stack kind of guy, but I put my stack just about all the way too the side of the bed on the passenger side. The hole in the bed has to be where everbody else puts it, but get a couple of 90 degree turns, and you can put it in a corner of the bed. I also went a few inches above cab height, because I was worried about drone noise inside the cab. I still have the cat to keep it legal, and have a "cheap, no name muffler" because I heard in TX that they weren't allowing straight piped diesels anymore. Don't know for sure about that, because two days ago, had the truck inspected for the yearly inspection, and they never even looked under the truck at the exhaust! Anyway, I love my single stack 7".

Are you trying to post them as attachments? Your attachments may be full. Load them in the DTR photo gallery, or use a photo hosting site like photobucket.

Rip, I have been at work every time I have looked at this thread, first time I've seen your truck. I like it. I think that I would move my stacks in a little, but I like the height and size. Are those 6"? I like Jason's 7 too...

Yessir 6". I agree with you, they would look better closer together. I'd like them about 3ft apart. Maybe one day.
