Need schematics for speed sensor on E-450 Super Duty

Have a couple E-450 Super Dutie's with the 6.0 POS, I mean, PS, here at work that we are inistallnig tracking devices on. They need a pulse to calculate vehicle speed. The sensor on the trans is a 3 pin, which seems to have one pin with 12v, one with 5v, and one to ground. The installer hooked it up on one of the wires (no sure which one) and now the two vans with that he hooked up make a terrible clunk when put in gear. The problem happens even after he disconnected...I know, that's not good. I have a feeling these things are going to find them selves at the Ford dealer. He still has the rest of the fleet to install them on, though...so I still need to know where to get the pulse.

The best I could find was to look at superlift's site for the truspeed. They said to get the pulse from the ABS controller. Not sure if it is the same on this van as in the F250s, but I would have to believe it is.

Does anyone KNOW, or know of a good source to find out where to get this from? The manufacturer of the tracking device is of no help.

Thanks,
Josh

What about the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) on the rear axle? If the vans are like the pickups the there should be a VSS on the rear axle, should be easy enough to get a signal from there.
