Need Duramax advice please

I have a dodge thank god, but one of my friends bought a duramax, I guess it's an alright truck but he wants to chip it. I need to know what the best chip is to buy. My advice was edge juice and full 4 inch exhaust. Am I way off? thanks for your help

I know a guy running the Edge Attitude in his Dmax. He hasn't complained about the performance.

The edge juice seems to be the most popular tuner out there for the dmaxes. Be careful though because on the kill setting they can be tranny killers. Theres lots of info on www.dieselplace.com, its a duramax forum

Let him know about EFIlive if it is an 01-05. (They are not working on anything for the 06`s at this time.) I has set a new standard for the Duramax. Custom programming for aftermarket turbos, injectors, cam, and just about anything else you could change. Plus with a laptop you can do much more then a tech-II, including tuning while you drive.
