Mud flaps
I knew all R/V transport companies require them when signing on but lately I heard mudflaps are required by DOT on all dual wheeled vehicles and it's actually illegal for a dealer to sell a duallie without them . Anybody know more on this ? When I had my first DOT inspection I asked the shop to install mudflaps on my 3500 but they said they didn't have time .

Better check your state and local regs as well. Som places require "anti-spray devices" depending on bumper/ fender height and how far past the fender your tires are.

Not required here either, I got a Mopar set for about $34.00 from my dealer.
Not the greatest set in the world, MUCH less mud on my 5'er with them than without though.

Ok.
Although the cost would be absorbed into the price of the truck, I wish mudflaps were required in oregon so that my dually came with them and I didnt have to track down a set I like (which I haven't)
