Vavoline premium Blue, It's what's in there from the factory so I thought I'd just stay with it.

Advance Auto Parts carries it for 9.98 a gallon. Just thought I'd let you all know. I try to save money where I can.

I have been running the Valvoline Premium Blue since I bought the truck in March. But, I have located a vendor who is getting me my new oil for the ol' girl. Just got my first case of Schaeffers 15-40 moly bond. About 4 more George Washingtons per gallon, but I can't deny what I have heard about Schaeffer products.

Delvac 1 5W-40 synthetic year around.
If I didn't need the 5W for winter I would run Delo. Probably changing to Premium Blue synthetic on the next purchase. Delvac was $25 per gallon on my last purchase this fall. I can get PB for under $17

For those with pre 2007 trucks I suggest staying with a CI-4 oil. CJ-4 is formulated for the new emmission trucks. It is backwards compatible, but why spend the extra money?

BTW Bill, I got you beat. Going through about 6,000 gallons of Chevron RPM every year at the shop. RPM is a fleet grade similar to Delo.
