Maybe I didn't read it right but I believe they converted everything from Km and Liters to Gallons and Miles. That was 92 MPG. Sure makes all those hybrids look bad.

Got a link?

According to the http://www.honda.co.uk/car/ website the Accord gets 52.3 mpg and the Civic gets 55.4 mpg. Both use the same diesel engine and in the UK its Miles per Imperial gallon. This comes out to 43.5 miles per American gallon combined for the Accord and 46.1 miles per American gallon for the Civic.

Honestly, that is still very good and I would in a heart beat trade my VW for a Honda diesel. And since EPA says I should be getting less then 47 on the freeway and I just hand calculated 52.6 out of this last tank of fuel I am pretty sure I could almost get 50 out of an Accord. And it has more room.
