More Power For Motorhome

A friend of mine just purchased a 2001 ish motorhome with a 5.9 Cummins (VP44 pump) and a Allison auto. What will work to give it some more power? I have not seen the motorhome, I figured they probably don't even have OBDII ports on them. Can Cummins just reprogram the ECM?

Thanks,
Tobin

It will have an OBII port on it.

I'm pretty sure Edge or BD makes a chip for them. Go check out their web sites.

Cummins should have a rv tune for it if it doesn't have it in it already. You need to know what operating system it is running. Is it a dodge motorhome?

If it has an ISB in it, then it is most likely a small pusher. That means it is most likely built on a class 6 Work Horse chassis and is not required to be OBDII compliant. It most likely has a 6 or 8 pin duetch connector located either on the left driver side kick panel, or in the engine compartment.

Call these guy's, they are very good.

Try some RV injectors.

Just kidding-- I'd recommend larger injectors from F1. Some Mach 2s should work well.
