More Power For Motorhome
A friend of mine just purchased a 2001 ish motorhome with a 5.9 Cummins (VP44 pump) and a Allison auto. What will work to give it some more power? I have not seen the motorhome, I figured they probably don't even have OBDII ports on them. Can Cummins just reprogram the ECM?
Thanks,
Tobin

Cummins should have a rv tune for it if it doesn't have it in it already. You need to know what operating system it is running. Is it a dodge motorhome?

If it has an ISB in it, then it is most likely a small pusher. That means it is most likely built on a class 6 Work Horse chassis and is not required to be OBDII compliant. It most likely has a 6 or 8 pin duetch connector located either on the left driver side kick panel, or in the engine compartment.
Call these guy's, they are very good.
