May buy an 06 - 2500 3500 differences

Besides the obvious - rear springs and drws - are there any frame or other differences between the 2500 and 3500?

I am thinking of buying one tomorrow for a new work truck for my company. I need at least a 1 ton for hauling/towing but I do not want the drw. My guys are excellent at removing the fenders.

I am thinking of getting a 2500 and adding air bags to help handle heavy loads. I am often carrying a 3500# pallet of sand or cement and towing a 7500# trailer. I need to upgrade a 1990 F250 gasser. It just cannot handle the weight anymore and the brakes are very inadequate.

Any thoughts/opinions would be appreciated.

Trying to take advantage of the 0% financing which ends tomorrow and so far I haven't found a 3500 srw locally.

Unless you have the dually, you are instantly overweight with the 3500 lb load and that isn't even including the 7500 towed weight with a 10-15% hitch weight of 750-1125 lbs. (I guessed receiver hitch pulled) There isn't much payload left with the diesel option. Go test drive a 3500 SRW and go weigh it, subtract that from 9900 lbs and that is the payload left. You also stand a good chance of being over the tires rated load in the rear with what you posted for hauling and towing. You need to get better drivers.
