L-shaped extra fuel tank??
Well I just inherited an L-shaped transfer bed fuel tank. I think it is a 95 to 100 gallon tank.
I had a couple of questions?
1. The tank is not new by all means, so I am able to clean out the tank properly and sand blast the out and repaint? If so what cleaning solution is recommended?
2. Even though it is a transfer tank, it is possible to make it in to a gravity flow tank? If so what parts would I need to hook it up to the old vent tube due to my other vent mod?
3. Installation- I do not have any instructions or bolts or anything. So is tank installed just to the bed or the frame? It is recommended to install with some rubber washers? I would be doing the install my self and my have an extra hand.
I am looking to information.....I love the idea of driving 1800 miles plus on 1 tank of fuel

bolt it to the bed use rubber spacers like an old mud flap, it will gravity flow but you need a shut off valve or it will not stop flowing , be sure to put aux fuel filter or it will kill your injectors, they make stuff to clean the inside and treat the tank try parts house
Thanks for the info...Does anyone recommend any kind aux fuel filter???
