My boss is always giving me a hard time about driving a dodge, and I am getting it extra heavy this week because I snapped my input shaft. He is hardcore chevy, and a guy we work with sometimes came by today for a little while, and got to talking about trucks(another chevy guy). He was laughing at me and aggrovating me because my input shaft busted, and was talking about how great the allison was, but then went on to tell me that he just spent over 2k dollars on it to get it back on the road. Something messed up witht he motor, and he said it wouldnt hardly run. Not for sure what it was. Dont think it was injectors, but I dont really think he knew either. Just thought it was funny he was giving me a hard way to go then talks about how he spent that much to keep his motor running. The truck has like 206k miles on it. I have 210k on mine, and have never had to touch the motor!

He had to give you a hard time to keep from crying!! I'm really surprised he had that many miles on his truck, honestly I didn't think they could do it!!!

 

You'll find out in life folks tend to defend everything that is theirs! EVERYTHING! Buy a pair of boots and you gotta tell someone how good they are for the money you paid. It can be a saw, a battery, tires, your guages, even your wife!!!

Man, a truck is a truck. If it does what you want/need it to do the rest doesn't matter. If you purchase something for someone else's approval you're a slave.
