Just bought Centramatics

Well I am finally going to try it for myself... I just ordered some Centramatic wheel balancers for my truck... If they work like they claim and like many of you have said... I will get them for my service trailer and my Cherokee.
I was going to try the beeds that go inside the tires but I put too many plugs in the tires from mesquite thorns and nails... so those are not an option for me although it would have been a lot cheaper.
One question I have is>> does anyone run that stuff in you tires that stops flats by filling and sealing the holes as you drive with your centramatics? I heard you can't really run it in your tires with regular balancing weights because they will cause the tire to become unbalanced.
Can you use it with Centramatics?

I use the Ride-On product in my tires.
You do not run any wheel weights with it.

Runs smooth at any speed and will seal anything to approx. 1/8" in the tread portion of your tire.

Also is supposed to help tires run cooler.

I just started using it in my truck tires. Been using it in my Harley tires for a few years now.

They also have great product support.

I think you are talking about Slime or something similar? Don't know about using it with the Centramatics, but I did put it in a tire with regular weights. It shook real bad until you got up to speed, then smoothed out. I didn't run like that for long though. It was pretty annoying.

All I gotta say is WOW!
It is not BS... they DO work! I have about 400 miles on them and they work perfect! Funny thing is I pulled all of the weights off on the outsides and forgot about the insides...for about 200 miles! I couldn't tell and I am very particular about vib's in the truck... I pulled the insides off and it still ran smooth as glass! I am getting them for the service trailer and the Jeep now!

So are the Centramatic wheel balancers still working great for you and did you have to put a spacer in the fronts?

I LOVE them!....
I expected to get new tires 25k miles ago but they just stop wearing and flattened out....
I just ordered new tires from Ebay last week because I have a tire machine and I don't have to get them balanced any more >> So I save time and money there also... I could still go another 6000-10K miles on these tires since they have not hit the wear bars yet... but I am going to change them out any way >> I have never gotten this many miles on a set of tires before!!!
I didn't have to put on any spacers... I am running them like I bought them...
I also love not having those ugly weights on the tires any more!

Oilguy, which tires did/do you have on your truck? What is the total mileage on them at this point?

I am going to pull the receipts tomorrow to find out exactly but I think it is close to 70-75K miles! I am use to getting 40 MAX!
They are Cooper Discovery ATR 285's >>> I just bought the same kind... tried to get the wife to let me get 315's but she complains about getting in the truck now... (she's short )
