This is my 1992 W250 with a Getrag 5 speed. I got it from the son of the original owner with 145k on it. It was absolutely stock when i got it last fall. Ive since added the things in my signature plus the pump is less than 1/2 turn from runaway and has machined AFC top and a super tight starwheel. It runs 42psi of boost at 1100* pre turbo. It has the typical hot KSB option, pull cable, dead KDP and runs on 285/75/16 MT ATZ's on Outlaw II wheels

Might as well throw my 2 heaps in to help the rest of you fellahs!

93 Dually. Paid too much as a basket case. So far I've done: Lots of rewiring with maxi fuse blocks replacing stock fuseable links, ignition switch, dual 65 series batteries with new cables soldered, new brushes on starter, LED clearance lights on dually fenders, repaired odometer, 255/85/16 BFG Mud Terrain tires, Single muffler stack w/ flapper, 4" Source automotive exhaust, DPP III's (old numbering), Denny_T Stage II pin, high idle removed, ball to the inner hole, fuel screw maxed, timing bumped 3/16", throttle cable slack removed at pedal, 3/8" fuel lines to stock filter housing, Carter 4601HP lift pump, HE351CW turbo, Cooler Tubez, Powerstroke Intercooler, BHAF, Autometer Fuel pressure/boost/EGT/Tach. Transmission line pressure increased, bands retorqued and tightened. New drag link, steering gear box, Borgeson steering shaft, rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder/brake booster, all front universals, rebuilt rear brakes.

Lots of extra parts in the garage suggest much more is to come

Now the good truck. Paid half the price, driven double the miles with half the heart ache!

So far, all I've had to do is: All 4 balljoints, front brake pads, master cylinder/brake booster, new injection pump (my fault, don't ignore the water in fuel light!), dropped and cleaned out the fuel tank, new tires, full 4" Diamond Eye exhaust with muffler, increased line pressure in transmission, increased shift point from 1-2 (too much), retorqued and tightenend bands. High idle screw backed off, ball moved to inner hole, fuel screw in 1.5 turns, timing bumped 1/8", throttle cable slop removed at pedal, Autometer tach. Truck drives beautifully, stops great, and pulls with great power. This truck is my "learn from my mistakes truck". All cheap and free mods with best power gains are all that will be done. Nothing unnecessary or "flashy". Functional Plain Jane is the name of the game.

Gauges, torque converter, OD aux. transmission, and locker are all that is left to be installed.

I can't believe they were gonna cash for clunker that....

Truly the best deal I've ever heard for a 1st gen.

you're the man for saving that...And the guy at the dealer too who sold it to you since they aren't aloud to do that technically.

Well it was all legit because instead of processing it as a clunker, they just wrote the deal up as a trade in. I was lucky that the owner allowed the deal to go down, he could have been a jackwagon and nixed the deal, sealing this 1st gens fate, and insisting on clunking it out, WHEW!

Here's my '90. I've owned it for about 6 years and the mods in the signature sum up the work done so far. Future mods are IC radiator, governor spring, rear locker, rear air bags, and some body work. The only time I run it anymore is when its hooked to a trailer or when the bed is full.
