Having looked through your gallery, the other set of wheels that you had on your truck, "make" it. The truck is really bright, and looks good with the brighter wheels on it.
On that note. We have put the Teflon black rockstars on several different trucks, trying to find one that looks "right" and so far, no dice. Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and various other "off" brands.
The chrome Rockstars bring a truck out a bit, however, they look really busy, and are extremely difficult to keep clean.
I have a "canary yellow" 82 chevy truck, and I tried several different combinations of wheels, to get the look. After trying a number of things, the best look it had, was a set of regular old steel mods, with a chrome outer rim, and a metallic gold center. For some reason, that was the "it" look.
It takes a certain kind of vehicle to hold an all-black wheel/tire combo.
On a side note, we just put a set of 17X8 Core Racing Titan LT's on an 04, with 285's. Not the same size as your tires, but on the other hand, it looks quite sharp, and the wheel compliments the truck.
In closing, I can say, and did say earlier, nice truck, well built. The only thing that took my vote away from it, were the wheels. Keep up the good work on putting trucks together, and good luck with it.
