Hey guys, Jaymies' post about his experiences with "DTT Transmissions" has NOT been deleted here on DTR! Here is a link to Jaymies' original DTT Thread here:

You guys are aren't going to see ME delete it I can tell you that! I have NO USE for any of the staff at DTT and would NEVER do business with them after the way they talked to me a few years ago!

As stated, no issues here John!

I also have Stephan's personal cell phone number, wait until you need something... He won't answer that either...Hell a little time on google found me a wealth of information on the man, including how many days he spend in the road with his drag car last year 212 according to him, and how much he spent in fuel just in his toterhome.... A very helpful DTR member did done looking around chilliwack at the address DTT has listed, no signs of DTT there. The whole business is run out of a house that appears to be owned by Bill Kondolay... Real nice of son to drag his father down too...

I am also still without a truck, because I have no transmission. I have also bought one from Jeff Garmon, let me tell you guys, so far, his customer service is astounding! My transmission is built, paid for, etc, but due to work constraints I missed my vacation, which I was using to pick up my new transmission, and take down my core. Jeff has been good enough to store it for me until I can figure something else out.

Oh, and for the record, by searching my own POSTS on CF, I managed to find my thread, buried in and merged with a different thread in the sponsor feedback section, where it will never be seen.

Hey there fellow DTT anti-fans!
I am the guy that built Blevins transmission and dealt with DTT on the parts nightmare. I ordered all the parts for one of my transmissions at the same time as all of his and I just got my billet input shaft this week!! Over 2 months of waiting! Like he said I too was pleased with the parts kits they put together when it all finally showed up but I was able to track down all of the valve body parts that they use so I can pretty much get all of that from a nearby shop from now on. As far as converters go, I will go back to getting them from RevMax from now on. I have used several of these and they are great! Im actually going to get one on the way Monday for another build. Plus its never been more than about 4 days to get them!
I dont care how good of a product you deliver, customer service is the absolute most important to me. I didnt get that with DTT. RevMax has always been OUTSTANDING when it comes to treating me right and answering all my questions.

I was one of the guys who fought against the Kondolay Klan on the TDR's "tranny wars" back in 2001 over ATS's abilities and reliability. Bill repeatedly demeaned Clint Cannon and ATS, and Stefan joined right in. Although I hate to see any business go under I can't say I'm very surprised. In contrast Clint Cannon and ATS have prospered... which is no surprise to me.

It is sad, as I did respect the DTT trans back then... I didn't want one, but I respected it as a well-built trans.

Thanks for bringing these matters to our attention. Please let me make it clear that we absolutely DO NOT supply DTT with any transmissions, valve bodies or torque converters. All of our products are made at and shipped from our Charlotte, NC facility.

Thank you for your praises, we greatly appreciate them. We pride ourselves on customer service and it is so nice to hear such nice feedback!

Bummer you came to this conclusion as it is not true. Someone from DTT had posted on another forum that they were going to sell our products, this of course it not true.... Regardless, I am happy that you were able to get your situation resolved. If you ever need ANYTHING at all please feel free to contact us! We of course would have loved to have had you as part of our family though

Are you serious! I saw kondolay post up that you were going to supply them, actually I think I saw another post saying that he's getting converters from you... when I saw that I remembered our pm's and was confused as to why you would do that... I'm sorry I came to a conclusion like that. I was ready to pull the trigger but went with Garmon instead. I have a strict policy that I will never do business with any company affiliated with DTT... If I were you I would go on the forum and say you guys are not affiliated with those dirtbags...

By the sounds of these threads you got an off-the-shelf stock replacement.

Blevins, I don't know who all of their suppliers are, but I can tell you that diesel performance converters from Georgia made the one he sent me, I peeled off Stephan's shipping labels, and the first one on the unopened box, was from dpc to dtt in Blaine Washington, then there was one from Washington to bc, then one from bc to me.

As much as I don't want to tarnish dpc's reputation ( if they have one? I had never heard of them prior to this) as it may well have been a decent quality product, it just was not the product I asked for. With that said, they are in bed with dtt in some form, so I won't be doing business with them.

On edit : if the converter is a light blue color, it's probably a dpc unit.
