ISSPRO Customer Service
Just a short tale.
My fuel pressure gauge had been acting up. It finally went south. Well, not the gauge. It still did a startup cycle, and lighting worked. But when running it would read a full 40psi, like an open circuit. Checked the connection, nothing out of the ordinary. Confirmed fuel pressure from the AirDog. It was there.
Got in touch with ISSPRO. Informed them of my findings via email. Michael, one of ISSPRO's engineers got back with me the next day, and agreed with my findings, that the sending unit gave up the ghost.
He promptly sent out a replacement sensor, no questions asked. Got it today, put it in, all is well. All he asked was for me to mail in the faulty sensor. The packing slip had a note that the internal seal may have failed.
Just makes me smile to have a company take care of an issue you have, and do it quickly with no issues.
Thank You ISSPRO, you have a loyal customer here.

I had a question or an issue with an Isspro gauge of mine and they were great to deal with, I remember that. I don't remember what the issue was though lol.

I have a friend that has ISSPRO gauges on his truck. He didn't have an isolator installed on his truck and messed his gauge. ISSPRO sent him a new gauge no questions asked. They informed him of installing an isolator to prevent any future problems. I would have to say ISSPRO has one of, if not, the best customer service.
Beat this:
My Isspro pyro started reading wrong after four years.
Not sure how long the warranty was but doubt it was four years.
They sent me a complete pyro no questions asked, didn't even want the old one back.
Isspro can't legally say which ones but their gauges are rebadged and used in most heavy equipment and semis.

I've always been done right by Isspro as well and it's good to hear others have had the same service. Most companies could definitely learn a thing or two from Isspro when it comes to customer service.

I have a complete set of Isppros in my '67 W200 and one of them cracked in the face. I live with in striking distance (20 min) of the company so I just drove over for a visit. Not the first time I did that although they don't normally deal that way. It had been about 6-7 years or more at that time since I put them in. I just picked a door and walked in since it is a pretty large building. It was obviously not a customer door as the only person I saw was a feller walking by dressed fairly nicely, that is no jeans.
He asked if he could help and I handed him the gauge and showed him my issue. He takes me through the building and pulls out a replacement which he hands to me, and tells me he hopes this one works better for longer. He then walks me another way through the building to let me out and it is his office. We chatted for a few minutes and I find out he is the the President of the company! I only found that out because I asked what his job was since it was obvious he was probably just not a flunky.
This was about 4 years ago and was really great service;.

The module that controls my gauges went out last year, they sent one right out to me at no charge. I installed them in 06.
Great customer service.

Stories like this just make me smile.
Specially Russ'
That was pretty awesome of him to take care of something so minor, and the president no less.

It must be nice to be treated that way. I have 4 isspro pyros in my 4 trucks and not a one of them work. The first one to go has the needle stuck at about 350. not long after it stuck one could tap the face of the gauge when I knew it was much hotter and the needle would jump up but then vibrate back down after a while. I asked them about it and was basicly told "Tough".
I think one has a bad connection at the point where the extension meets the thermocouple, Wiggling it will make it read a bit then nothing. The other two act like poor connections to the thermocouple but I cannot find it.
I can probably even find the emails that denied any help.
Will I ever buy any more?? depends on how this turns out.....

I called about getting one and ordered it through Eric @ Vulcan. After I put it in it wouldn't read as well as the last one and not at all @ idle. I called and talked to your guy (ken???. maybe not
) and when he found out how close I was he said come on over and he would test the sender for me. I had already made the change so it squared with the flywheel teeth and was not striking them again although I think it got close enough at one point to mark it. When I did get over again for testing the sender I was taken right to the test bench, he explained how it worked when I asked and everything tested OK with the sender.
I reinstalled it and when I ran it there still was no reading @ idle. Called and he suggested switching the wires which made it work like it did with the other sender. Another call and I asked if it could be the tach itself and apparently there is a way to test it but of course I have to pull the dash to get it. Not happening at this point until I can get to it but was invited to come back over for a test when I can.
Now I think that is outstanding customer service over, above and beyond. These gauges have been in the rig over 10 years and I originally bought them @ 6 States probably 12 or more years ago. I think I have the receipt so I could look it up if needed. Obviously no complaints from me.
Well, the tach never has worked much above 3500 so it would be nice if it did but doesn't spend much time above that so not a huge issue.Michael, I have chatted with you a couple times for some reason or another. I did also worked for Eric off and on one summer about 4-5 years ago and made some pickups over there for him. I am retired Portland Fire (Truck 22) and drove semi before I was a FF and continued during my career to do some of that. I still do some. Eric still wants me to work a day or 2 a week but I tell him I like driving. I haul crushed cars out of wrecking yards and since I like wrecking yards it's a pretty good fit.
Years ago I recall seeing Isspro gauges a lot in the semis but now they pretty much have the brand name on them.
