International?

So i saw a F250 today and where it usually has the Powerjoke emblem instead it had the letters INTERNATIONAL.
Is FORD so embarrassed about the Powerjoke that they don't even put it on the side anymore?

The powerstroke is made by International/Navistar. So the guy must have just thrown on some new badges. The new 08's still say Powerstroke on them.

I knew that, the letters International looked factory. Individual letters.
I guess he was just ashamed of the Powerjoke under the hood and put International on it, trying to fool those who don't know.

Just to defend these so called powerjokes. I have both(see sig) and in the 12 years that I have had my "powerjoke" it not once has left me sitting, or even seen a tow truck. In the 2.5 years I have had the dodge it has been towed 4 times. The fords 94-97 PSD are in my opinion the best all around pick-up truck ever made.

Repairs:
Ford=water pump, cam sensor

Dodge=vp44,lift pump, ball joints, u-joints(all)new ring and pinion,pinion seal,the fan has spun off of it twice and ruined the radiator, rear axle seal,front drivers side hub bearing, seats are tearing, had to have the rockers line-xed because all the paint was completely gone.
Thats all I think of for now. And the ford repairs were all after 170,000 hard miles of towing everyday. Dodge all before 100,000.

I can appreciate a nice truck no matter what brand it is.
But I still love my CTD

I have seen those Internation emblems before they are aftermarket though.. However I guess I cant say too much. Im with TwoDiesels on this one, i have my CTD which I LOVE, however we have a fleet of Powerjokes that we plow with and use for landscaping. one with 300000 miles on it and never had one problem other then the transmission... Now on the otherhand we have one with 140000 miles and the trans went out and it spun a rod bearing within 3 months of eachother.. The 7.3 are a pretty good setup however I lost all respect for them when they came out with the 6.Ohoh came out.... They do their good share of work but not as well as the old cummins will.. Just my $0.02

The 7.3 is a great engine, tough, reliable, strong, durable. I love them.

But was the start of the overly complex Diesel engines in light duty trucks. They don't break often, but when they do they can be costly to repair (HPOP, expensive injectors...)
