Sounds like a pretty smart guy. I bet he used to be a Cummins mechanic till he ran out of work due to lack of them breaking down. That engine came out of a 170,xxx mile truck? He should send it back to Ford so they can put it on display for the highest millage 6.0 ever made.

I sure wish Ford didn't have those crap engines in them. I love their trucks, but man, I'd be scared every time I started it up. I believe I'll keep my 5.9 Cummins and the Dodge it's attached to. I realize though that some of these clowns are their own worst enemies with all the mods they do that the engine can't handle.
Being a Ford diesel repair specialist is called "job security". It's kind of similar to selling toilet paper and toothpaste at Wal Mart. People will keep coming back, again, and again, and again.

"This engine is SKROOD!" hahaha...
I thought that sentence was trademarked by the Ford factory engine installation team, and it's spoken like a benediction as the engine is lowered onto the framerails.

I thought that was a poor explanation, was there a bent rod from the hydrolock? What did the bearings look like? How does he know the crank is damaged? EGR cooler damaged how? maybe from high cooling system pressure but not from what he mumbled.

I think he made that video to point at the owner of that engine without actually naming him. There is probably an on going feud between them.

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
Good video. Made me laugh! I like how he states it started from a "Partially blown head gasket". It's either blown (not good) or not blown (good) And in the beginning he says it could be avoided "If it was diagnosed earlier" Well duh!!

"pushing the engine too hard", the owner must have been trying to keep up the Dodge that went flying by him on the 15% uphill grade pulling a 26 foot 5th wheel...

Don't even think of working it "too hard" or you're "skrood". Hydro lock, water in the oil, chips in the bearings, melt down. Not even good for a core.
Then it's back to the dealer to buy another one! Reset. Work it too hard, skrood, back to the dealer, bal, bla, bla.
Oh, I forgot, cab off, cab on, cab off, cab on.................
