Injector Differences

What, if any, are the differences in the injectors between the different model years of the 24V engine? I know they changed the programming for different injector events on the HO's but is there any fundamental difference in the injector design? Would a earlier model 24V injector work in a later model?

The reason I asked was there was someone selling a set of used injectors from a 2001 truck. Opening bid was $75. I figured that at that price even if one was bad it would be a good buy. But I forgot to check on the day the auction ended. They only ended up with one bid for the min of $75. Somebody got a good deal.
