I give Up

Started Buy Back on my Truck:
I called Chrysler this morning and talked to them about the buyback program for my 2007 6.7 with 28K miles.I have had the truck in the shop 5 times since I have owned it and now I have the P0402 code again. The dealer had just replaced the EGT valve before Christmas. Now I get the same code (P0402) again less in than 2000 miles. So we will see. If they do buy it back I will get a gasser or a 5.9.

I would like to hear from members that has went through this process, thanks

Good luck.
I've only read horror stories about folks going though buy back but you have to relize that you hardly ever hear the good stories, just the bad.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties. Unlike the Ford discussion groups, we don't have a massive population of folks who have had to go through buyback.

Go for it. Just make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's so you have a bulletproof case. They truly are a bunch of scoundrels and will go to any length to avoid accountability. A couple years ago I got them to buy back a PT Cruiser.
I can't give you any real advice because our Lemon Law system in Canada is a lot different than yours.
