Assuming you find a truck that is in really good shape but has high mileage like 250k miles would you still consider buying it?

It all depends on who the previous owners were and how they have taken care of it. Some people could tear up an anvil. Put those people behind the wheel of a truck, and they can tear it up too and it probably wouldnt take long. If i were buying a truck, i would prefer to buy one that hasnt been previously modded, but i recently purchased a truck with 219,000 miles on it that had gauges and a cut fuel plate. The truck was owned by an older man that took good care of it. If the truck seems to be in good shape, i wouldnt worry much about the miles.

I did and I've been very happy with my purchase. Aside from a couple normal wear items that should be expected in a high mileage vehicle, I haven't had any problems in 1 year and 12k miles.

You can find some higher mileage trucks that are really nice for under 10k.
