how many MPG do think i should expect

Hi everyone, since i bought my truck a year ago, my fuel gauge has been broken, so i've never had any idea how many miles per gallon i've been getting. I've been meaning to get it fixed, but running a start up mortgage company, funds are tight. I figure i'm atleast getting 16 mpg, so normally put 10 gallons at a time to lighten the load, and i run it to 160 miles before filling up again. I feel like i should be getting better MPG's since 90% of my driving is on the highway and i always drive between 60-65 mph, and I keep the rev's constant at or below 2k RPM. I also make sure i have the right amount of air in my tires. I'm wondering if i should get rid of the 370 injectors, and zero fuel plate and put everything back to it's stock form. A friend suggests carrying a fuel container and running my truck til it runs out of gas, but i'd hate to put any kind of abuse on the fuel pump. With the specs and mods of my truck listed below, how many MPG's do you think i'm getting? I'm contemplating selling my truck for a 4 cylinder toyota or honda, but if i can get 20 or more mpg's, i'll end up keeping it.

Thanks

William

Don't need a gauge to figure it out.... but you do need to fill it up (whether you drive 160 miles or whatever) for several times in a row. First time doesn't count... you just want the tank full. Record your mileage and the when you fill up the next time you can divide your miles by gallons purchased. After a few tanks you will start to get a pretty good average.

You're probly getting very near your estimate. You've never run out and never been unable to fit the 10 gal in right? If you've been doing that for a while now youwould most likely done one or the other if you estimate was way off. (according to my thinkin)

I would look more towards a set of DDP2's, a stock fuel plate and then get a good Converter.

20 shouldn't be an issue at all, 22-23 should be more like it.
