How do you like your Liberty CRD
Should be ''how do you like your CRD payment now that they aren't gonna make them after this year?'' We were gonna pick one up untill I heard that news....nobody's gonna be able to work on them/get parts for them...which is a bummer 'cause the folks that have them seem to really dig them

I helped my father get one a couple of weeks ago. We hurried to get one before the end of the year while selection was still good and the incentives were on.
He has had a Cherokee for years and really liked it.
He loves the Liberty. It's tuned like the Cummins with lots of low end and it has good power with turbo lag right at the bottom. And it pulls up long grades without downshifting. Sweet. They all have the full and part time settings in the transfer case too, and an OD lockout swith. No accurate mileage figures yet but it is obviously doing better than the Cherokee.
You can hear the turbo and some clattering around town
but on the highway it's very quiet.
We were very interested in them because of the diesel but it turned out to be a nicer rig overall than I expected. I'm not worried about getting parts or whatever after the end of the year. And this is the last year for reasonably simple emissions stuff. No particulate traps or afterburners or urea injection, etc.
I say get one now!

Keep in mind I've only driven it about 3 times (bought it for the wife)
So far I'm Very impressed with it. It's roomy enough, I'm 6'1"-ish 200lbs. That little 2.8 will get moving pretty quick, And I swear it runs WAY better everytime I drive it. Approx every 4-5 days. She drives it daily.
Mileage, it only has about 1000 miles. But I'd guesstimate about 22-24mpg mixed driving.
Issues, Yes. A very high percentage have the same inherent issues. Ours has the transmission 'shudder' There's supposed to be a re-flash that will help it. Need to get that done. The other (Major) inherent problem is with the CCV system. I've read of others having problems with oil soaked intercoolers and associated plumbing. Ours, at this point is fine, but I continue to keep a close eye on it. Interior wise I'm not too wild about the seats. They're OK for short commutes, but I think on long trips they'd get old quick. They're just to 'general' as far as seats go, meaning they don't have much contour to support you like they should. Lastly, the tires are CRAP. The stock goodyears might be fine on the gasser KJ's, but they DO NOT belong on a CRD with the extra weight. The sidewall flex is ridiculous.
All in all, I'm happy with it. More importantly She is too. I don't regret buying it at all. I just wish DCX would have engineered it just a bit better. But the beancounters probably got involved and started cutting corners. And you know where that gets us.
