Notes:
1. The ford needed traction. The dodge had >12.5" wide tires and a much lower stance.
2. That image is now public domain. Post it as often as you'd like.
3. I sound like a girl screaming in that video.

That was an awesome video! We hook bumpers all the time around here, but I've never seen a dodge take off that fast with a ferd, but I have seen them get pulled backwards

Silly DTR posters, that vid proves only what a traction advantage can do.

If your truck sits higher, you will win-- plain and simple. Because when you pull then, the rope tension will make the higher truck have MORE traction (pulls it into the ground) and the lower truck have LESS traction (tends to lift it up)

Heck, I could take an old Ford 300 I-6 gasser, put 1500lb in the bed, and drag my Dodge all over the place.

But it's nice to live in the parallel world where a pull off actually means the ENGINE is more powerful, lol.

Nonetheless, it's still fun to see the Dodge win. Maybe we should make a rule that we all have to install concrete bedliners to ensure we can always beat a Ford? Oh-- and you have to lift the truck, too.
