Yeah... This guy is nuts!

I will say one thing about Detroit Motors though. We have them in all of our Fire Trucks and they are pretty amazing. It is pretty impressive how fast it will make an 80,000lb truck get up and move.

Yup, and I heard they going to wage a hostile takeover of Krispy Kreme, this way when your 6.0hno is in for "service" you can have Ford "certified" donuts while you wait.

As far as a fast Detroits, they can boogie when bombed right! I have an issue of TDR from a few years ago that has a mid 70's step side Chevy pick up that is gutted and tubbed with a turbo'd 6V71 Detroit that was running 10.20's @ 140 mph. It was not street driven but sure was fast. Though, a fast Detroit is quite possible, I would doubt that a toothless hillbilly that thinks our CTD are made by Case owns a 10 second Detroit!!

heres a new one

I had heard that the block originaly was a development of CDC Consolidated Diesel Corp. Because there was a market for small HP diesel engines below the 300 HP. So CDC developed it and sold it to the bidder of cumins.

I have run the earlier version in a excavator many years ago.
JUST wish that I had got a good one.
For I would have enjoyed a good one.
