Help Reviving my Line-X
Well I have had my line-x spray in liner for just over 2 years now and it has started to fade into the light black / greyish color. The truck is parked outside so it gets the Cali sun a lot and has had several trips towing to the desert to ride. Does anyone have any DIY suggestions to get the deep black color back? I have seem some paint/die thing that you can put on, but did not know if that works. Line-X wants another couple hundred to respray the liner to get the color back. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I would try Aerospace 303 on it. I use it on everything not metal or leather including my spray in liners. I spray my liner about twice a year with it and the last three liners have not noticably faded.

If it's black you could try this. http://www.autogeek.net/forever-blac...liner-gel.html I have no personal experience with it. Autogeek does sell quality stuff.

supposedly in a couple months line-z is releasing a product that revives your liner, brings the color back and stuff like that... i asked how much to do the bed of my truck- $250... kinda steep if you ask me.
This is common with spray in liners that stay in the sun.
You can clean it first with soap and water. Use a brush to remove dirt.
After it dries, you can use a trim restorer or bed liner restorer. Many people use products made for plastic trim. Wipe it on and let it dry. It will darken the color.
Some use boiled linseed oil mixed with mineral spirits. Wipe it on and wipe off extra. Test a small spot first.
Paint or dye can work, but it takes more prep and can peel.
A respray will last longer, but DIY products help if you want a lower cost option
