great project truck?
ok, so I don't have it in me to work on a project like this, but what a cool conversion truck this would be...

I'd find one without the Utility body on it. I looked at some m880's a while back. They are SRW. I also looked at some of those shorty plane pulling tractors made from first gen cummins dodge trucks, they had no miles but tons of hours.
Would have been a pretty cool project but you can get a factory one for what I'd have in it done.
The M880 is a pretty cool deal if you can find an unmarked low mile one. Drop a built 360 in it and you're off to the mud pits. I'm pretty sure they come with a kingpinned dana 60 up front.

We bought one from our fd, a 1978 w300, 400 two barrel, np435 4 speed, np-203 full time 4wd afer case, and 45,000 orignal miles. We put a dump bed on the back and use it around the farm. Man that truck is a haus.
