Got my free issue of TDR

Wow! I'm impressed. What could this sentence on their website mean:

To receive a free issue of the TDR please fill out the following information.

Today I got it. They sent me absolutely FREE . . . Aug/Sep/Oct 2001!

Says the cover letter:

"The sample magazine may be a couple of years old, but the staff and I are confident (why else would we give stuff away?) that you'll be impressed with the magazine's insightful articles."

How nice. The third generation did not even exist, so why did they ask me what truck I had? I haven't decided if this is confident or arrogant, getting rid of old back issues this way.

How about it guys? Is this worth the $35 for four of these, hopefully a bit newer, and access to their website, every year?

What do y'all think?

It depends on which year CTD you have whether the mag is worth it for you.
As more people buy newer rigs TDR tends to give more attention to them and cut back on info for the older rigs.
