I buy mine from Cummins. They're about $18.00 cdn up here in Alberta. I haven't been on the Geno's website in a while but you might want to check them out as well.

Hastings has a 2 micron short filter that is a direct cross to the FF5320,

Part #FF1079, 2 micron, 5 absolute.

I'm running the CAT filter listed in my signature. Its a couple $ cheaper around here. They are great filters too. They were under $15 when I got mine.

What ever filter you chose make sure it has the same water stripping capacities as the GDP 2 micron fuel filter as not all filters are equal when it comes to water removal.

The CAT 1R-0750 is only $5.27 at the link below. They have the cheapest filter prices that I've found anywhere, and free shipping on orders over $100...

It is supposed to remain trapped on the filter media.

I checked it out... what I can tell is they cross reference the CAT number and the part for $5.27 is a Fram filter. No way is a CAT filter gonna go that cheap and no way am I putting a Fram on my truck. Sometimes those cheap place sell inferior products.

Trik, I guess you can believe what you want, but I purchased some of these filters and put one on my truck today. It's a CAT 1R-0750 in a CAT box for $5.27. Check the website again; they sell filters in volume and pass the savings along to their customers. I also purchased Fleetguard Stratapores from them for $8.28 each, which is $3.67 less than Geno's where I had been buying them, and they are exactly the same filter.

When I have enough for another $100 order I'll be buying more Fleetguards for my diesel tractor and forklift plus the wife's minivan. I'm just trying to pass along a good deal to my Cummins brethren.
