I think the trend is that the prices will go up again around the July 4th weekend. The prices have gone down here too, but diesel has not went down that much. It is a joke, when gas was 1.89 a gallon, the diesel was about 30 cents cheaper, now that the gas is down about 30 cents the diesel is only 9-10 cents cheaper.

news report on CNN, check the web out or google something to that extent,
Since Iraq cant produce its own gasoline anymore (there production facilities= mostly destroyed, they only ship out crude oil, america BUY's fuel from neighboring countries, and ship it into Iraq, since american tax payers have already paid for it, and Iraq citizens are fairly poor, there is a huge price difference,
with this cheap gasoline many iraqi citizens are becoming taxi cab drivers, giving rides for as cheap as like 5 cents a mile or something to that extent, i remember most of the article, its fairly new, within the past 3 weeks

Diesel keeps going down around here, but gas remains the same.. I filled up my new 600 today for the first time, since the fill up at the dealer, and payed 1.89/gallon.

Thats MR Hoss to you buddy!
Diesel here has held at a constant high of $1.659 / gallon for the past 6 weeks or so. Before then it held at $1.599 / gallon for about 5-6 weeks. I've noticed gas prices drop some, but diesel has held.
It will never be "low" again. The oil companies are smart. They jack the prices WAY up and make us pay that much for a while. Now, when the prices drop to $1.50 / gallon we're all going to feel like we're getting a good deal and be happy. In the meantime they're just laughing at us for being stupid.

Fuel prices dropping??????????? That's a good one! Best joke I've heard all year.
Still over $2/gal here... yeah, it has dropped some, but not enough to make a difference at these prices. I think I'll be going to HotJobs.com now and pulling a search for Venezuela...
