I know www.thedieselgarage.com has a medium duty forum. You might try that.

Instrument cluster gremlins are very common in FL series. We have 36 in the fleet and over two years the dealer hasn't figured it out. Constant ABS lights coming on. WIF lights constantly coming on. ECU 128 codes. "CYCLE" warnings coming on the dash. We've had several Allison automatic problems related to wiring/communication problems with the factory FL80 ECM. We're replacing air dryers every 2-3 months on the FL80's with the Mercedes 900 series engine. We've had to replace every single fuel tank on them except for seven of them from rotting out. We've already replaced three aluminum fuel tanks on the new 2006 FL80/M2's because the bolts on the driver's side rear spring perch has rubbed through the tanks and the bolts on the L/F half fender has also rubbed through some of the tanks. These new M/2's only have 8000 km's at the most. The bigger problem is we only have ONE Freightshaker dealer to deal with and they're clueless.
No offense to you other Freightliner mechanics, but we've taken the TEAM dealer of our vendors list and will no longer buy freightliners in our future fleet purchases.
