I was out with my Mom a week or so a go, in her vehicle, at a Lowes. When she was looking for a parking spot I said "Whoa, not that one Mom" she said "why?" I said "Thats one of thoese new Ford flame throwers. Itll burn the paint off your car." We both cracked up over that one. That is the only one I have seen round here.

The auto maker said it is "entitled to hundreds of millions of dollars from Navistar based on its warranty obligations and Ford's pricing claims."
If they are entitled to hundreds of millions, they are still gonna pay more than 1 billion. Isn't all the problems from Ford adding there own stuff?

I really don't see what Navistar intends to gain through all this...It's really seeming to me like they are biting the hand that has held them up through some rather tough times. The working realtionship between them may not be ideal, but if they keep this up it's going to be *over.*

If I were Navistar, I'd be thinking "with customers like that - who needs enemies?"

I don't want to get flamed for this but has anyone else thought that with the 6.0 resale being so bad soon you could pick one up cheap and with new injectors, turbo, studs and headgaskets have a real runner? I've heard they're animals with mods so long as they run right. They seem to be engineered very well except for some really stupid component choices that the aftermarket already addresses.

I'm not flaming but whoever told you that they run good with mods lied to you. At least compared to the other two.
