what are the different fleetgaurd filters available 4 our trucks>? what are the differences in them and the part #'s.........thanks guys scott

For oil filters, the standard Fleetguard for the 24v up to model year 2002 is #LF3959 which I believe has a cellulose filter media. The Stratapore is #LF3894 for the same and uses a synthetic filter media. The 12v's have a microglass that's #LF3552, and the standard of #LF3349. There are now 2 new part #'s out for the '03 trucks, and they state they can be used on '89-'03 CTD's. The shell is constucted differently to allow easier removal with a wrench. The P/N's are LF3972 standard, and LF16035 for the Stratapore.
