Northern Indiana is the place to get the fema trailers....I have done a few, but I have a full time job as well. It may not be worth it for you since you live in alabama. You would have to drive up here and hope that they have a trailer availible. I know most transport companies up here are not hiring currently because of the large amount of drivers hired for fema. I normally tow on the weekends and there has been a few times where I could not get a trailer. Every trailer that I have taken down I took to Purvis, MS. and by the way I pass through Cullman every time and fill up there. I did one recently this past weekend...Left Bristol IN at 340 PM friday night.....arrived at Purvis at 640 am saturday morning....and got back to Bristol at 1040 PM saturday night. about 890 miles 1-way. now thats some drivin'!!

'Preciate the info. Thought I might make a few bucks, my wife doesn't work and could drive empty. Cullman...small town Alabama, actually a really good place to live. I work in Decatur at NUCOR Steel, we also have a mill in Crawfordsville, IN.

Cool . I work in the sheet division, you know....those big rolls that fall off trucks and knock holes in the road . If it's a steel product, then NUCOR makes it, as we have mills all over the country. Sheet, beam, bar, galv, stainless, etc.

Usedta work at USS Gary (IN) Plate Mill, afore I got smart and went back ta farming and trukin. NUCOR was in it's infancy back then. No one really thought they could pull it off. Well, they're still around and the plate mill is about shut down. Wisconsin Steel on Chicago's south side went bye-bye long ago.
